Scott,
Thanks for the link. Always good work.
Apparently there has been some movement with the DI project. There was a meeting with the Writer and Publisher at Wizard World Philly last weekend, and as it looks we are off to another banner.
Buddy and I have not been satisfied with their handling of the project. We will see this in print. I will send off your link, and see what the next publisher has to say. Hopefully you are still interested.
Thank You.
GGG.

Hi folks - Gerald's reply seems a bit odd now, but I pulled my original post and link while I rebuilt the inking comparison section into the regular navigation of my site. The new section is HERE. If you save the images there, you'll find them to be 1100x1650 pixels each, large enough to see the differences in the pencil and ink details. I work mostly with a #3 or #4 Winsor & Newton Series 7 sable brush for the figures. Background work is done with a Hunt #102 or #107 crowquill. For large fills, I use an older brush that can no longer hold its point. I prefer a shellac-based india ink over the more common latex inks available today. The latex inks are good, but it comes down to a personal preference and the way it comes off the tip of the brush or quill. Panel borders and lettering are done with refillable technical pens. In those, I do use a waterproof latex-based ink designed for technical pens. It flows better, clogs less and cleans easier in those tiny parts.
