Since we have postponed the BBQ, and may not have anything planned, we could do an informal gathering at Comic Kazi?
Fiona and I will be at CK most of the day...a Jam could be done, or just chat. I have invited Andrew to meet with us, everyone else is welcome to come.
There's "Live 8" going on, if your stuck at home?

Hey! You didnt say there'd be heavy lifting involved! But if you want me/us to help sell the book, then we could work something out. The last time I checked, you guys didn't sell any copies. Which would make some of the stories i've heard from comickazi clerks' completely untrue. Untrue, I say!

I thought I saw a copy of it in the "new release" area a few weeks ago.
I wonder if any Doll Steaks have sold ...

If anyone buys Round One while I'm there, I'll sign it. Otherwise, I'm not going to badger customers. I hate pushy salespeople personally, so I want to avoid becoming the things I hate.
As for Edmonton, I'm getting my best zebra suit dry-cleaned and my second best chalice shined up.

Ledsoul,
We have room at the front end for a table and chairs. The food court may be more comfortable. Whatever works for you. Fiona and I are still restricted to the store.
Again, this is informal-we wing it?
Thanks.

One of them will take you directly to Northland Mall. The other will take you the LONG way around to Northland Mall. I believe you want the 137.

The other will take you the LONG way around to Northland Mall. I believe you want the 137. Yep, it's the 137. The 143 also works. If you arrive at Dalhousie LRT station, you know you've gone too far. You could then take the 37 or the 43 and go back. If you end up at Brentwood station again, then repeat the previous steps over and over until you see the mall, heh heh. The BBQ at Bowness looks like it's still going ahead, so I think I'm going to head to Bowness myself. I believe the plan is to stay at Bowness in to the evening, so if anybody who goes to Comic-Kazi wants to head down to Bowness when they're done there, then that would be great. Otherwise, I'll just have to split myself in two and send one half to each meeting. That could be pretty gruesome, though, so I don't really want to do that, heh heh.

I will not be working at CK as previously stated. I now have the day off, but will still make it down to meet with Andrew,Fiona and anyone else planning to make it down. I will be there by 1:00 PM and stay til 5:00PM.
I have opted out for Bowness Park, we've had Zachary outside with mosquittos...not much fun.

Temperance,CogNoman,FC,Ledsoul,Andrew,Tiina,Nick,Chris,Vince,Steve,Johnny...family and friends.
Thanks for coming by on a very casual day.
We may try the Park get together again, Riley Park after the August 20th CCTF Show. We would have most everyone there, and easy enough to call if the weather cooperates. Safeway is within walking distance...a picnic instead of BBQ?(No fire pits)
Any thoughts?
