www.andrewandtiina.com/PartingWaysweb/pwbase.htm#THRILL! To the sight of the PARTING WAYS cover image Andrew's been gushing about for months! MARVEL! At the high-tech wondrousness of the Primary Cast pop-up sketches! SHUDDER! At the low-res jpegs of the first 12 story pages of the book (soon to be made higher res!)! TYPE! Any comments you may have into your computer and post them here! And, finally and most importantly: ORDER! PARTING WAYS, an original graphic novel from Speakeasy Comics, on sale in July (Diamond order code MAY052941)!

Andrew,
What happens next...?
Solid straight forward visual storytelling.
Natural dialogue.
Intriguing story/concept.
All you need for a good hook...as a regular comic consumer, I would take a look at the book when it comes in. What is the page count and cover price?
Thanks.
GGG.

That looks rad, I do recognize some of the art style from X-Statix. Can't wait to read the rest. :)

Thanks to everyone who posted...sorry I haven't been more responsive, but it's been a tough week or two, putting the book to bed. I do appreciate it. Have I mentioned that I LOVE the cover image and design? Thanks! I'm always very happy when people actually like the cover--that image done that way was a major, major reason I wanted to get Scott Mooney on the book in the first place. And there was a lot of angst about whether or not we'd get to use it, at one point...the publisher was pushing for a colour cover for awhile... If you've got some time to spare, check out www.livejournal.com/users/andrew6/44213.html for the heart-wrenching details (I'm actually planning to include this story on the Ways website with illustrations at some point {soon, I hope}). Hey, I picked this up while in Edmonton at HH. I read it once and wrote it off. I diodn't know what to think. But this morning over my cereal I read it again. This is fantastic. Is the actual book out yet? I will definetly pick it up. The concept seemed frsh enough. I definetly wanted more.

Is the actual book out yet? I will definetly pick it up. The concept seemed frsh enough. I definetly wanted more. The complete book officially comes out at the end of July, or possibly the first week of August. If you really want a copy and don't shop at Another Dimension or Happy Harbor, which are the only two stores I've been told point-blank are ordering non-reserve copies, you may want to pre-order (Diamond Code MAY052941). Speakeasy's made the first 22 story pages available on-line--that's ten extra pages beyond the ashcan and the webpage preview. Here's the URL, if you're interested: speakeasycomics.com/partingways_preview.htmlThanks for giving the ashcan a second chance! Best, Andrew
