I pretty much never draw without music....so list 5 bands/artists you are currently listening to while workin' on your comic/artwork, regardless of how embarassing.... i'll start... 1. Descendents (Punk) 2. Drag The River (Country) 3.Cyndi Lauper (80's pop....don't ask) 4. MXPX (punk) 5. Roy Orbison (??) If you don't listen to music while drawing, I still expect a list of 5 of something!! (work habits, favourite colours, favourite cereals, etc....)

I tend to play the same CD over and over again, for days at a time, then move onto the next one, so this is really more an overview of the last month than a snapshot of a more concentrated moment of time.
Coldplay: Rush of Blood to the Head (mod pop rock)
Pop Will Eat Itself: Box Frenxy/This is the Day, This is the Hour, This is This ('80's Brit Rap--famous for the line "Alan Moore, Knows The Score")
How Black My Heart: A mix of black metal a friend made for me.
Cryptomnesia: Hypnerotomania (Calgary goth/industrial band that were friends with the guy who made the How Black My Heart mix.)
Mercury Rev: This is Dream (ethereal mod rock)

5 favourite flavours of Kraft Dinner to eat while workin' on artwork:
1. Alfredo 2. Three-Cheese 3. Egg Noodle 4. Original 5. Sharp Cheddar
Sorry, but I've just got so many wonderful songs on my playlist that I just couldn't narrow them down to five. I didn't want to hurt the other songs' feelings. Suffice to say, though, my top 5 songs would have all been some sort of electronic techno.

Dude! what about Spirals? Oh, shoot! I forgot about Spirals. Yeah, they're definitely going on the top 5 and that bitter old Sharp Cheddar is getting taken off.

Johnny Cash is goooooooooood country though. He's so good he can transend. I mean, who else could cover 'Hurt' that well? Travis Tritt? I think not.

Ohh yeah! Johnny Cash! ohoh! and George Jones! He's coming to Calgary. His last concert was awesome! Woo!
It's true though, the best country singers are dead or full of gin.... or both.

Top 5... Hmm let's see this seems to change weekly...
1. Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds; maybe some Nocturama or the new discs Lyre of Orpheus/ Abbotoire Blues (I dont know how to classify this).
2. Modest Mouse (alt emo shizzo)
3. Franz Ferdinand (see modest mouse)
4. Lionel Ritchie Greatest (you know who he is.)
5. Television Backround. During days at home with my preschooler son Anthony, I hear alot of Tractor Tom, Thomas, Poko, etc. During his naps some reruns of Red Green, and often mostof all... the news. Sometimes Leeann makes me sit through American Idol. That's almost as bad as the mall music at 24hrcd.

Two albums that come to mind are:
1. Nirvana, Nevermind - Drew the Nightmark: Blood and Honour mini-series to it. Pure, raw energy with just the right touch of whininess to it.
2. Live, Throwing Copper - Drew the two Three & the Historical Society stories to it. My ears are still ringing. Fantastic, textural piece of work that builds to a climax. They thought about song order.
