I know this is an old movie, (in terms of news for most), but I was wondering if anyone else watched any of the extra's in the making.
I found that the original ideas in comic book form were very interesting. That and I love that early 1920s style, I wish that would come back before the 80's ever did... le sigh...
Anyway, as I remarked I think if anything the extras on this DVD are well worth a watch for any comic book creator or artist.

What's to hate?
It was cheesy? It was supposed to be. It's attaching itself to everything from the old sci-fi pulps, to the cover art on those self-same pulps. At no point was it ever aiming to be Citizen Kane.
When it came to great visuals, dames in distress, and scoundrel-heroes with a heart of gold, I though the movie accomplished exactly what it was aiming for; a love-letter to the past. Sin City could be seen the same way; an over-the-top homage to Raymond Chandler, and film-noir in general.
It seems as though some people love this movie to death, and others hate it with a passion. I wonder, why the dichotomy?
